Winner Paul Conibear receives the trophy and a £40 voucher from Captain David Barlow
Testing conditions left most of the field struggling in the Autumn Singles Stableford on the John O'Gaunt course.
With heavy rain for the early starters followed by high winds and bright sunshine making it hard to see the ball among the leaves on the fairways, only seven players out of 93 played better than their handicap - which made the winning scores even more impressive.
The top three players came in with 38 points, only separated on countback.
First among them was Paul Conibear, playing off 8, who hit one birdie, 10 pars and seven bogeys. He was presented with the Autumn Singles Trophy and a voucher for £40.
Runner up was David Tamsitt (£30) and in third place was Clive Thompson (£20).
Winners of the divisional prizes, and collecting £20 vouchers, were Andrew Fage (37 pts - up to 14 hcp), Graham Gadsden (37 pts - 15 to 19 hcp), David Holme (36pts - 20 plus hcp).
Raffle prize winners were Steve Luckman, Stephen Hobbiger, Tony Goodson and David Trotter. They each receive £10 in pro shop credit.
The result sends Andrew Fage to the top of the Golfer of the Year leaderboard on 70 points with just one more qualifier to come. Close behind him are Paul Conibear (59pts), Clive Thompson (56), Chris Dennis (53) and Peter Imray (47).
It all now hangs on the Bailiff Shield on Tuesday Oct 20.
