John O’Gaunt’s finest travelled to Rushden Golf Club for the annual away day and, judging by these photos provided by Seniors Captain Algy Grimes, a good time was had by all.
Organiser Richard Coventry said: “The weather was kind to us with only 5 minutes of rain and the course was in very god condition given the recent weather. Yes, it was green. Rushden Golf Club looked after us very well with an excellent breakfast and half way house refreshments. The winner with 38 points was Peter Imray, second on count back Paul Jones and third Robert Isaacson with 36 points. Jonathan Lean, Malcolm Roberts, Robert Anderson and David Price were nearest the pin on the par 3’s. Next year we are going to Burghley Park on the 14th September, put it in your diary.”
