Organiser Tony Walters reports
At the allotted time the team from St Neots arrived to follow up on their 7-1 win on home ground, boldly lead by our stalwart Captain Tony Lloyd and assisted by organiser Tony Walters, aka Mrs Brown!
Mrs Brown's boys followed on, exchanging banter and anecdotes around the course.
The matches started with a win followed by a 2 down loss which is a running 100% record for one player.
Not to be daunted, another win followed, followed again by a close 1 down loss.
The final three matches, which started on the 17th chasing the main group around, came back with 2 wins and a draw.
The closest to the pin for the home team was won by Steve Mathers and by Tony Springett for the visiting team.
After the match some sought the shade of the bar while others drifted to the terrace to enjoy a cold drink while watching the remaining teams come up the 18th.
Then it was in to the Burgoyne Suite for a tasty meal of gammon steak, bubble and squeak with pineapple chutney, fried egg and buttered peas followed by chocolate and orange tart.
The St Neots Captain put a brave face on the loss, citing their overall aggregate victory. But for Mrs Brown's Boys it was a welcome and richly deserved win after a run of three losses for JOG.
