David Tamsitt reports on his foursomes knockout match with Paul Beasley against Fred Williams and Paul Jones
The first semi final that was played on Thursday saw a nip and tuck first few holes off the 10th on John O’Gaunt between Fred Williams and Paul Jones vs Paul Beasley and David Tamsitt.
The game turned on the 15th after a wayward drive from Paul Beasley under a tree which was chipped out and finished with a superb pitched 70 yards shot from Paul Beasley to the green and rolled in to the hole. Paul and David went on to take advantage of their 3 shots winning the match 4 and 3.
Paul and David now face either Paul Hammond and Dave Wood or Paul Dobson and Jan Murphy in the final.
