The Seniors’ Section took on the Juniors’ Section with the TSB Trophy at stake. Seniors’ Section Captain Bill Walker reports on the match

The annual tussle between the Seniors’ and Juniors’ Sections took place on October 26th..
At stake, as well as a lot of pride, was the much coveted TSB Trophy. Six teams on each side with handicaps ranging from 54 to scratch were on display.
The top match saw Seniors’ Section Captain Bill Walker, returning from a 10 stay stint on planet Covid, and partner John Church take on Juniors’ Section Captain Bradley Williams and partner Kaiden Greenwood.
Age and treachery were first to take the upper hand from Youth and Exuberance on the 3rd and despite a valiant effort to hold onto the lead they eventually went behind on the 8th and were fighting a losing battle from then on. Youth eventually won 5 and 3.
All but one match went the way of the Juniors’ Section and so they were worthy winners 5 matches to 1. Captain Bradley looked kind of pleased to take the trophy although perhaps he was just trying to measure up to Captain Bill for the photo.
