Thursday 10th October saw the latest of the Stableford Roll Ups providing an opportunity for those who want it to submit a qualifying card.
With a weather forecast that was variable at best the participants were in fact treated to a good day's weather on the full JOG course which had been reopened that day. Gone were the days of long runs on the fairway and we were back to autumn golf with wet grass and plenty of it in the rough. It was important to keep on the straight and narrow and the scores reflected the challenges of the course. Despite this the first two scored well and the overall result was:
1st Peter Imray 34 points
2nd Warren Churms also on 34 points on countback
3rd Richard Westergreen - Thorne on 31 points
