Home Match v Leighton Buzzard - 6th June 2017
We entertained Leighton Buzzard on the Carthagena course on
the 6th of June. It rained and rained. Trolleys were blown over and
umbrellas destroyed. After 8 holes of non stop heavy rain and wind, both teams
were content to call it a day and make for the clubhouse. Marcus was able to
bring lunch forward from 2.30 pm to just after noon so the teams didn’t have to
wait around for too long. We hope to rearrange the match for the 4th
of July when Michael said we could again be accommodated on the Carthagena.
