Jog Seniors Captain David Barlow tees off against St Neots

Mrs Brown's boys were welcomed to St Neots by Neil Berry and his team and with all things lined up - including the weather - the teams were raring to go.
Eight teams set off in what seemed a fairly balanced contest, with the home side receiving 121 shots to the visiting team's 81. And with all matches going down to the last three holes for a decider, in Mrs Brown's words: “Well, that’s gone tits up and half-way down the road”
All well-fought games, the best being our last pairing who were giving away 37 shots coming in with a respectable 2-1 loss. The remainder all carried a great burden and giving way to the weight.
The course on the day was in excellent condition as was the Beef Tart on completion
The only thing that was not denied was Neil Pinnington getting the nearest the pin for the away side.
Not our greatest result but possibly a first. And a fun day out.
