Winner Anthony Bell receives the Rex Bullock Trophy from Seniors Captain Tony Lloyd
The first Senior Section competition of the year - the Rex Bullock Trophy - attracted what must be close to a record entry of 108 players who enjoyed fine sunny weather on a Carthagena course with lots of run on the fairways and fast greens.
Scoring was high with 28 players on 36 points or more.
In third place, on 42 points, was Tony McLean. He received a £20 pro shop voucher.
Beating Tony into 2nd place on countback, and also on 42 points, was Bill Walker. He received a £30 pro shop voucher.
But the victor, with 47 points which included a blob! was Anthony Bell who received a £40 pro shop voucher and the Rex Bullock Trophy.
We look forward to seeing how his exceptional play changes his handicap.
Raffle prize winners, who each receive £10 on their pro shop accounts, were Trevor Darrington, Paul Beck, Graham Platt and David Trotter.
