Bedford and County : 13th September 2016

What glorious day today turned out to be for playing golf. as we pulled into JOG the sun was out and starting to be warm. As we passed the 16th hole and onto the car park the JOG course stood in fantastic colour. Everybody seemed in fine fettle and arrived early which was a sign of things to come, in the beauty of the course holes came and went. There was a lot of good banter between players and a fantastic day was had by all. The banter continued in the club house and at lunch of which everybody enjoyed. The final result was nearly missed until the Beds captain said his team was improving they only lost 6.1/2 to 1.1/2. But the important thing was everyone going home smiling. Regards John Ellary
