Another fine day saw 80 seniors compete for the penultimate competition in the Golfer of the Year. The Winner was one of the early starters so had to wait a long time to see if his score of 41 points could be beaten and one of the later entries had 39 but nothing closer. The winner was Kevin Donnelly and second was John Whitbread, back to good form after some illness earlier in the year. Third, with 37 points on count back was Neil Pinnington.
