Keen-eyed viewer Clive Gardiner spotted Algy Grimes being interviewed on BBC Look East in Bedford. He was asked to comment on the possible disruption to be caused by the proposed Universal Studios scheduled to open in Kempston in 2031. He told the interviewer: "I don't mind the plans as long as they serve proper pies - not that stuff in a dish with a puff pastry lid!"
Lawyer's note to blog editor: I suspect you have invented the quote attributed to Mr Grimes. Please stick to the facts in future
