Algy makes the TV news - or does he? June 3 2026

 

 Viewers of BBC Look East might have been forgiven for thinking that a man interviewed in Bedford was our own Algy Grimes. Shoppers were being asked about disruption from the East-West Rail project. When Algy was approached for comment by the Blog Editor he said: "It must be a lookalike. I am on holiday in the Arctic Circle!"
