The Senior Section "Autumn Swing" got off to a great start with the Gordon Percival Team Trophy played from the Carthagena white tees in warm Autumn sunshine.
In this competition, players do not find out the hidden teams until they get back to the clubhouse.
A good crowd stayed behind for the presentation to see the Gordon Percival Team Trophy presented to Bob Isaacson and Keith Howlett. With their third team member Clive Thompson they amassed a total stableford score of 118 points.
Runners-up with 113 points were Spencer Pepper, John Church and Graham Gadsden.
The number of entries meant two teams only had two players. In this case their score was increased by the average score of 34 points.
Winner of the Martin Ives Trophy for the best stableford score was Tony Munn on 44 points. Runner up with 41 points was Bob Isaacson and in third place, also on 41 points, was Clive Thompson.
Raffle prizes were won by John Hazelwood, Chris Sullivan, Richard Newman and Steven Wakefield. Each receives £10 in pro shop credit.
