The Juniors and Seniors after the match with William Gilbert holding the TSB Trophy
The long-standing tradition of the Juniors and Seniors competing for the TSB Trophy continued on a grey and drizzly day on John O'Gaunt.
The Trophy goes back 43 years and the Juniors are certainly ahead overall by quite some margin, winning last year 3½/2½.
But on Wednesday the Seniors managed to peg back their young rivals to a draw - 2½/2½.
So, as the current holders, a draw was enough to retain the trophy for another year.
As is tradition the Seniors bought their Junior playing partners lunch after the match.
The standout performance came from Ollie Newman who shot level par - his best ever round.
