A bumper turnout for the Senior Section AGM of around 50 members witnessed the "changing of the guard" in the Burgoyne Suite.
Richard Westergreen-Thorne, 2024 Captain, handed over the reigns to his Vice Captain Tony Lloyd and once again took up the role of Honorary Secretary.
Tony's Vice Captain - hopefully a well-kept secret - was unveiled as David Barlow.
Elected as Competition Secretary was Nigel Underwood, who will be assisted on the committee in a co-opted role by last year's Competition Secretary Jonathan Lean.
Continuing in his role as Match Secretary is Algy Grimes. Algy thanked Alban Macdonald for his help in setting up the matches.
Continuing in his role as Honorary Treasurer is Barry Donovan. He thanked Trevor Darrington for his help in auditing the section accounts - a role which Trevor will carry out again this year.
The AGM passed a motion promoting the role of Trophy Custodian to a member of the committee. Dave Wood will continue in the role that he has performed so well in the past.
